BASF has gifted the foam insulation to meet the insulation needs of the non-profit organizations building. Unlike conventional EPS, Neopor insulation can efficiently absorb and reflect thermal radiation, as it features graphite particles, which enhance insulation capacity by reducing heat loss.
Neopor-based foam insulation products consume fewer amounts of raw materials when compared to products made of conventional white EPS, however, they still deliver comparable or superior insulation performance, while saving resources and costs and reducing environmental footprint.
Elizabeth Kelly, who serves as the Hope Hospitality & Warming Centers Executive Director, stated that this donation of Neopor rigid foam insulation has made the center more energy efficient and comfortable.
BASFs Business Development Manager for Construction, Paul Fox stated that he is excited to provide his experience and knowledge along with BASF management and the companys customer, Perma R to gift the Neopor rigid foam insulation to the center.
